Can I upload a pic to see if it can be identified?
Could somebody help me ID a plant? It has a long stem and the flowers gather at the top (there are about 50+ pods). The three bottom pods have opened up to reveal flowers that are very much like lillies in appearance. They are a light green colour. I am happy to accept it is a lillie, except that it is a single stem, with no leaves across the stem, and the number of pods for flowers is huge, something I have never seen on a lilly before. Plus, I do have a lilly in my garden (Orange Tiger Lilly) and it looks totally different. Any ideas?
Can you help me identify this plant that grows in shade in southern Wisconsin? It is perennial, growing from a system of intertwined rhizomes or bulbs very near the surface. There are various numbers of leaves on the 12-14" high stalks. Thanks
There is a green, sort of cacti-like(no needles), growth with white tips growing from an ash tree stump. Is this a plant or a fungus?? Do you know the type?
