It looks like a snail without a shell

General information about Grey Garden Slug :

AKA Grey Field Slug

It is a mollusk

It can travel 40 feet /12 meters in one night.

Some species have shells under their skin.
It has a keel on it's back.
Feeds on fresh leaves, fruits and seedlings. It is a serious garden pest.
They die if it freezes.

They lay thousands of eggs in autumn, which hatch in the spring.
