Southern Utah, in little pots found on the tops of mesas.
It looks like a tiny transparent fish. It has a forked tail and two little black eyes on opposite sides of it's head. They also have a third eye between the two eyes, that is used during early development.

These creatures hatched from eggs that sat through last summer and through the winter. They were forgotten, but appeared when water was added to an aquarium that had their eggs in it. From the same dirt, Clam Shrimp emerged as well.
There was no salt added to the water, although there might have been some in the dirt. These creatures swim stomach-up.
