Also, Tasmania is part of Australia so there probably isn't any need to mention it separately XD

There are many species of plant in the Leptospermum genus commonly called tea tree most of which are native to Australia. Leptospermum scoparium is native to both Australia and New Zealand (probably due to constipated birds flying between the neighboring countries lol). It is the plant from which the famous manuka honey comes from.

Tea tree oil is extracted from an entirely different plant - Melaleuca alternifolia which is native only to Australia.
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Yes, This is the flower from the TEA TREE and as far as I know its specifically called NEW ZEALAND TREE... maybe since its origin is from New Zealand, Australia and also Tasmania, there are different names for it..

Sao Paulo is a city (the third biggest in the world) and a state located in Brazil... and Campos do Jordao is a small mountain city located in the state of Sao Paulo.

I love this tree.. one of my favorites actually...

I'm glad you liked it!!

So this is the flower of the Tea Tree? For some reason I was thinking that the Tea Trea is from Australia, which is near New Zeland... but where is Sao Paulo, Campos do jordao? Interesting info.
