Positively IDed the scaly white one through much searching as chlorophyllum molybdites. A bit poisonous as it causes severe gastrointestinal problems. Apparently one of the most common causes of mushroom poisoning in the US as people often mistake it for a shaggy parasol.

My wonder is if they're edible or not. We've got a lot of them lately in our own yard. Wondering what exactly they are.

The red ones look like Birch Boletes.. The white ones are some form of Agaric.
