Hen of the Woods, AKA "Maitake", Grifola frondosa. Please do your research to verify this, but if it is, they're edible and delicious. First time you try a new (POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED!!!) mushroom, eat a SMALL amount, then wait a day. Some people's bellies are a little sensitive to the same shroom other people have no issue with.
