Humongous Fungus

Huge mushroom measuring almost 30cm across (That is a 30cm ruler on top of mushroom in the picture) Spongey and orange on top with mottled brown bottom curling up over the top.

This mushroom was pretty battered by the time I found it and it looks like a bush turkey has been scratching and pecking at it. It shriveled up and died a couple of days after this picture was taken.
