Panellus serotinus??

Found on underside of log in small shelving cluster. Sparkling cap. Pale yellow gills, close. Closest key I have found was P. serotinus, but no picture seems accurate. Any ideas?

The coloration on a young panellus serotinus looks like this, and they grow duller as they mature. You probably just found a baby, that's why it doesn't match the other pictures you found online. Panellus serotinus is known as the "late fall oyster" because it appears later in the season than other mushrooms.

I would guess that it's in the Panellus genus as well.
