Location: Prepare your Mushroom Patches.You can gather debris: last year grass, leaves, paper (not newspaper!) etc. Accurately rake ash into the soil at 5-6 cm., add the sand. -up. If dry, pour profusely. On patches however, ash is a good idea to carefully cover various waste clean-up:apple cores, apples, even mummified and rotten apples and pears. And manure not recommended nor as fertilizer or as litter.
Sow early spring to summer - Autumn fruiting.
Patches are hard to get started and need the right conditions, but if you've done everything correctly it will fruit for many years.
