Can anyone tell me what this is? I believe this is a type of mushroom. It is about 10 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. It has grown in the same general spot for the past few years.

Here is one more image from the top. I will dissect it tomorrow and photograph it.

What is it?

I looked up a little more on "Shaggy Manes" and it says that they often start releasing a black ink-like substance as the age. Well, my specimen is doing this so there is a good chance it is a Shaggy Mane. Do other mushrooms release this type of "ink"?

I've never seen one of those. Maybe you could dissect it and take some close-ups? I'll try my best.
