Hi, this comes up in my lawn at the end of every summer. I live in Eastern Massachusetts. This monster orange fungus starts out with one mushroom, then quickly multiplies from there. I did a spore print last night, and it has whitish gray spores, and lighter orange gills. It can grow over 2 feet in diameter. I am no expert in fungus, just really, really curious as to what this is. Thank you all so much for your input. Please Help Me ID this monster!

It's really big, 250mm tall, 160mm wide cap and a 30mm wide stem. It has gills that were covered by the spores? Amanita?

I found this unknown mushroom at a local park when I was there with my dog. Anyone know what this one is? I'd be grateful for any information or links to information on this fella.

A short hike along the Discovery Trail on the Grand Mesa National Forest, just behind the Visitors Center. Just off the trail was something my son thought was a bone at first glance but closer examination showed a mushroom (slightly mangled, probably because it was so close to the trail). There were better shaped ones just a little further off. They're wide, close in size to the average cup coaster, completely white, with a short stalk.

We planted peas in our large wooden flower pot/planter. To our surprise these mushrooms also sprouted just a couple days ago (July 27th). Does anyone know what they are?

I first saw this mushroom this afternoon in my front yard. It is near a small flower bed that I fertilized with cow manure two days earlier and then watered. The weather last week was in the 90s, but it has cooled down to the low 80s and evenings in the low 50s. Some animal, squirrel I presume, might have eaten another of these mushrooms because I saw only the bottom of a stem. Unknown

L. Mokusin is considered edible in its immature "egg" stage. The fruit body of the mature L. Mokusin may smell like "fresh dog feces", or "rotten fish" deterring most from eating it. Immature fruit bodies are a small white gelatinous "eggs" ranging from .5-1.5 inches in diameter. The adult fruit body will be white to pink to red, with the spire-like stipe being the darker color. It measures from 4-6 inches long. On the outside of the the stipe there Lantern Stinkhorn

Partial remanents of a veil on older one veil enclosing gills on the younger one. Battered by hail From a hail storm yesterday. Don't think any of them are in to good of shape to get a spore print, but I will try. I believe that these are a Psilocybe species. Please help me identify these.
