Physical Description
Red-Orange, Tulip-like, 6 petal Flowers. Perennial with bulbs below ground. Leaves 3-8, yellowish green, margins ciliate. Scapes 1025 cm long. Raceme cylindric to almost spherical with 5-25 flowers. Tepals ranging from orange, red, yellow or rarely white, often with a green or brown center. Flowers in winter or spring.

These look so similar to Clivia - Clivia miniata from South Africa in the Amaryllis family. aka - Kaffir lily or Bush lily
