Physical Description
It is a herbaceous perennial plant, with hairless stems and leaves. The leaves are rounded, palmately divided into five to seven deeply lobed segments. The flowers are dark purple to bluish-purple, narrow oblong helmet-shaped.

Parts of plant are poisonous if ingested
It is a hybrid of subalpine larkspur (Delphinium barbeyi) and Sierra larkspur (Delphinium glaucum)
