Physical Description
Looks like an ox-eye daisy however i'm not completely sure. I realize multiple daisy strains exist and i'm not sure how to differentiate them well.

It looks like a member of the Leucanthemum genus.

do you have any hunches on what particular species of Aster it could be?

The leaves are different from the Oxeye, and the petals are a bit longer.
The Aster family is the largest plant family, many of the genera have more species than most families.
