I would be skeptical that it's a relative of the dianthus, unless someone can provide a species name.
This flower has 4 petals not 5, and it hasn't got 2 stamen, it's got 4.

"pinks" a member of the dianthus family. Deadhead them and they'll bloom more than once but are perennial.
