General Information

Could somebody help me ID a plant? It has a long stem and the flowers gather at the top (there are about 50+ pods). The three bottom pods have opened up to reveal flowers that are very much like lillies in appearance. They are a light green colour. I am happy to accept it is a lillie, except that it is a single stem, with no leaves across the stem, and the number of pods for flowers is huge, something I have never seen on a lilly before. Plus, I do have a lilly in my garden (Orange Tiger Lilly) and it looks totally different. Any ideas?

I've seen this before, but I can't remember it. I think it was in the Liliaceae, or Hyacinthaceae family.

Looks like Sand lily, Star lily, Mountain lily (Leucocrinum montanum), but those have no green stripes on the leaves. Also Known As: Sleepydick, Star-of-Bethlehem, Grass Lily, Nap-at-Noon, Eleven-o'
