This plant came in a packet of torch lily seeds. It was obvious that it wasn't a torch lily as soon as it sprouted, but we wanted to see what it was so we let it continue to grow. It just flowered and we still have no idea what it is. The plant itself is about 3 feet tall, the leaves have a ratty appearance similar to a thistle plant (but does not have any spines), the flower is brilliant reddish orange.
