Gopher Spurge is posioness including seeds and roots, and may cause skin irratation if allergic to latex. It is a biennial meaning that it comes up every other year. Naturalized in the United States and is native to parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Many people find it to be a weed. Personally I love it.

The buds have started to 'pop' off the plant and have black seeds inside. they are actually giving a popping sound when they fall off.
