General Information

A 1991 introduction from Northrup-King. Ivory is the size of a standard bell like Yolo Wonder. It starts out as a pale green and turns sort of an ivory color at maturity. It is quite an attention getter and is tasty. It is very tender and especially good in salads. It does attract more critter damage than the green bells.

3 to 4 lobes and blocky shape. It retains its creamy white color for an extended period before turning peach then orange, and finally light red. Plants are vigorous, resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and provide excellent cover for these very attractive fruit. Ivory bell peppers are still rather uncommon, and this Dutch variety is one of the finest available.
