Thalictrum polygamum – Tall Meadow-rue (syn. T. pubescens)

Plumes of white petal-less flowers on rounded panicles; club-like stamens characterize the flower. Male and female flowers on same plant: female flowers with several pistils and some stamens; male flowers with many thread- like stamens. Compound leaves divided into heart-shaped or round 3-lobed leaflets each about 1" (2.5 cm) long; lower leaves are stalked, upper ones are sessile.
