Monstera deliciosa
  Monstera deliciosa March 02, 2014
edible fruit. a fruity taste similar to jackfruit and pineapple. The unripe green fruits can irritate the throat and the latex of the leaves and vines can create rashes in the skin, because both contain potassium oxalate: that is the reason why the fruits have to be consumed when the scales lift up. The fruit may be ripened by cutting it when the first scales begin to lift up and it begins to exude a pungent odor. It is wrapped in a paper bag and set aside until the scales begin popping off. Acerola
  Acerola March 02, 2014
Extremely rich in vitamin C, also contains vitamins A, B1, B2, and B3, as well as carotenoids and bioflavonoids, and has antioxidant uses. Cannot endure temperatures lower than 30°F. Because of its shallow roots, it has very low tolerance to winds Among the 11 fruits' pulps tested, acerola had the most antioxidant potency. Acerola

Medium sized greenish flower
Medium sized greenish flower June 05, 2013
Could somebody help me ID a plant? It has a long stem and the flowers gather at the top (there are about 50+ pods). The three bottom pods have opened up to reveal flowers that are very much like lillies in appearance. They are a light green colour. I am happy to accept it is a lillie, except that it is a single stem, with no leaves across the stem, and the number of pods for flowers is huge, something I have never seen on a lilly before. Plus, I do have a lilly in my garden (Orange Tiger Lilly) Medium sized greenish flower

Wild Tobacco
  Wild Tobacco July 21, 2012
Wild Tobacco has become a widespread invasive weed in Cook Islands, Fiji, Hawai‘i, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Réunion Island, Mauritius, Madagascar, Australia, India and several southern African countries. Handling the plants can cause irritation and nausea. The dust from the plant can cause respiratory problems if exposure is prolonged. Because of its ability to affect human health and because of its aggressive and fast growing character it is illegal in some Wild Tobacco

Chicory
  Chicory June 13, 2012
Wikipedia: Root chicory contains volatile oils similar to those found in plants in the related genus Tanacetum which includes Tansy, and is similarly effective at eliminating intestinal worms. All parts of the plant contain these volatile oils, with the majority of the toxic components concentrated in the plant's root.[16] Chicory is well known for its toxicity to internal parasites. Studies indicate that ingestion of chicory by farm animals results in reduction of worm burdens,[17][18][19] whi Chicory

Grass Tree
  Grass Tree May 19, 2012
The Aboriginal people of Australia had a range of uses of the Grass Tree. The tall flower stem was used as a lightweight spear for fishing etc. Flowers can be dunked into water to produce a sweet drink. The white base of the leaves can be eaten and have a rather bland sweetish-starch taste. [[]]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xanthorrhoea[[]] Grass Tree
