Native Australian tuffed 'grass' with long strapy leave. Bright purple/blue star shaped flowers followed by pea sized edible berries. Please note that only this species is known to have edible fruit. Blooming Time: In winter in the greenhouse, it blooms with very small, greenish-white flowers. Culture: Ledebouria socialis need full sun to partial shade with a well-drained soil mix. We use a soil mix consisting of 1 part peat moss to 1 part loam to 2 parts sand or perlite. The plants are allowed to dry thoroughly in between waterings.
